John Prescott blasts ministers for 'defeatism' on his blog

Furious John Prescott warned yesterday that Labour faces being out of power for a generation if it doesn't sharpen up its act.
Prezza launched a stunning assault on Harriet Harman, his successor as deputy Labour leader, and other ministers over the party's disastrous showing in the local and Euro elections. Labour backbencher Graham Allen was among the MPs calling on Mr Brown to quit. He said the PM should "take the honourable way out so the party can progress".
Ex-minister Meg Munn said: "Gordon is not providing the leadership that the country needs".
